Planteray Original Dark is where depth meets fun. This blended rum comes from Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad barrels, double‑aged (Caribbean then in French oak), then married in France for extra character. At 40% ABV, it’s bold without being overwhelming—taking you deep into dark sugar, spice, fruit, and roasty oak. Use it to level up classic cocktails like Dark ’n Stormy, rum & cola, or pour neat when you want something chill but flavourful.

Tasting Notes

Toasty oak and burnt Demerara sugar meet blackened fruitcake, cinnamon, clove, prune and banana. Then tropical layers of dried pineapple, white raisins and molasses dance with allspice and pepper. The finish lingers with dark chocolate, spiced caramel, and a whisper of oak tannin, making it rich, warming, and totally sip‑worthy.
