Te Mata Estate was established in 1896 and remains fully family-owned today. They produce internationally-recognized wines from their Hawkes Bay Vineyards. Today, the estate comprises 250ha, with 150ha under vine, and produces 40,000 cases exclusively from these plantings. Two thirds of the production is Cabernet / Merlot and Chardonnay and Syrah
Bursting with red berried fruits such as cherry, strawberry and raspberry which are neatly balanced by gentle spices (cinnamon). A silkily satisfying red wine.
