Domaine Chanson continues to be highly respected amongst Burgundy fans and winemakers alike. They are extremely fortunate to own vineyards in some of the most sought after villages around Beaune (such as Chassagne Montrachet and so on) all of which are considered to be Premier or Grand Cru. In layman’s terms that’s as good as you can get in this fabulous region- one of France’s great sources of wine. 

Tasting Notes

This superb Nuits St George is bright ruby in colour. Delicious aromas of black currant and black plum mixed with notes of leather with just a hint of vanilla will be the first thing you notice. The flavours on taste are intense and voluminous with good concentration of fruit and spice. Despite all the ‘weight’ there is a silkiness to this wine that makes even more enjoyable.
