This bottle of tequila Olmeca Reposado is decorated with ancient symbols and engravings. The Olmeca Reposado is made from blue agave, hand-picked. It is distilled in small copper stills and the distillate is then matured for 18 months in oak barrels that have previously contained bourbon.
###
Owned by the Pernod Ricard Group, Olmeca Tequila is a Mexican tequila from the Los Altos region, which is the Highlands of the Mexican State of Jalisco. Among other things, this region is famous for its tequila production. The bright red volcanic soil nourishes the blue agave while its high mineral content helps to encourage the growth of sugar-rich agave plants.
Sweetly citrus, bold, smooth, and full-bodied, with agave, cedar, orange zest, pepper, and vanilla notes.
